High Street Hotties...

If there's one thing I'm missing most about living in the UK (apart from my gorgeous two-week-old nephew, Frankie) it's the ah-mazing high street. Topshop, Miss S, New Look, I'm really rather missing my quick fix shopping spots. However it turns out although most countires can't live up to our fantastic high street offerings, Ibiza can. Yes, I've been high street cheating - sorry, River Island. It turns out the Spanish know how to throw a real party when it comes to trend led yet affordable fashions, with the likes of Zara, Bershka and Mango all on the invite list.

Living in Talamanca, I'm only a 15 minute walk to Ibiza Town, home to the array of Spanish shopping stars, so it's hard to keep away. Now, I love Zara as much as the next girl but Zara in Ibiza is even more of a treat. For starters it's slightly cheaper and a little ahead of the Uk when it comes to what's new. My most recent purchases include a cute embroidered swing dress (as modelled by moi) an emerald green silk frock and chic black jumpsuit.

Bershka (Zara's little sister) is just as good with a selection of trend led lovelies that now make up most of my Ibiza wardrobe. I nabbed this suede-look top just last week which prooved a hit on it's first DC10 outing. The striped faux pony skin sliders are next on my shopping list.

Then there's Pimke, I'd never heard of the brand before I stepped foot on the white Isle but since I've been here I noticed it's bagged itself a little spot on ASOS.com. It's the UK's equivilent to H&M I'd say, super cheap and packed with cool basics - not to mention the fun swimmers!

Oh and not forgetting Mango, which has just opened an enormous flagship store in the heart of Ibiza Town's port. I'm yet to venture in, a little scared that I won't be able to restrain myself!

If you're headed to Ibiza my advice would be that the best places to shop are the unique boutiques and markets - you can't beat them for one-off frocks and handmade gems - but sometimes you just need a nice little high street fix.
