Happy Hippie

I came to Ibiza in search of a 'hippie' lifestyle, so 9 days in I was wondering, where are all the hippies?

Today, at last, I found them.

Exploring the North East of the Island I ventured to Es Canar, home to Camping La Playa. Yes, you can go glamping in Ibiza, who knew?

Away from the epic nighclubs and chic hotels is this little glimmer of Glasto on the Island. Here I found Gypsy caravans, beach huts and tipis snuggled beneath the pine trees and overlooking the crystal blue sea - and not a bit of mud in sight!

Think you can't afford a weekend in Ibiza? Champagne lifestyle, lemonade wage? This is your answer.

An afternoon chillin' at the beachside cafe Chirincana sealed the deal for me, with more printed hareem pants and stacked up bracelets than I could have ever imagined. I was of course dressed for the occassion in an off the shoulder smock top.

Now all i need to do is work on Dan to let us stay in a tipi for the night. Mini break alert!
