Last night saw a very special first on our Ibiza adventure - our first sunset of the season.
Needless to say, it did not dissappoint.
A frequent visitor to to the Island I've whitnessed the breathtaking sunset at Cafe Mambo and Savannahs many a time on our travels here but last night we headed to Sunset Ashram in Cala Conta in the South West of the island for our best yet.
The panoramic view quite simply takes your breath away.

Sunset Ashram, Cala Conta
Sunset Ashram looks like something out of the flintstones, with rock carved cosy booths and handmade tables. Great company thanks to Wendy Rigg and pals (aka. magazine royalty), punchy Pina Colada's and fragrant indian/asian fusion eats, made this my favourite eve on the Island so far.
On a budget? You can still enjoy the view. Head to the same spot with a coolbag packed with a beer or two and perch on the beach as the sun goes down. Perfection.
When it comes to sunset spots, this is the one.

Amazing view

Amazing IBIZA purses purchased by Susan for the ladies - handmade in gorgeous soft leather
An occasion such as this deserved a fabulous frock, so i whipped out a silk printed dress that Dan bought for me while we were in India 5 years ago - it cost about £2.50 (bargain) and it's my absolute fave. I paired with my statement multirow necklace from My Milly Moo. It's a little chilly in the evenings here still at the mo so i threw on a beaded cropped kimono from New Look after the sun went down.

We finished off the evening with a nightcap at Anitas Bar in San Carlos. An authentic bar and restaurant in the centre of the village, it doesn't get more small town with this - the bar houses the mailboxes for all of the villages's residents. Famous for being the meeting point in the 60's and 70's for local artists, writers and hippies, the quaint spot has held on to it's original charm. If you want friendly service, pretty surroundings and plenty of locals pop it on your visit list.

We drew the evening to a close with a Bowie singalong - Wendy & Cath, I totes get the Bowie thing now after those fabulous renditions :)
